| | I feel more like they've blessed my life more than I have blessed theirs because i only pointed them in the direction they wanted go. God is the only one who could take the credit for leading them in that direction.
For example, my friend Ed wanted to pay me to write his papers for college...it wasn't that he couldn't, he just was fearful of failure.
Rather than write the papers for him, i helped him by bringing him into the light of the tutoring center.
Confucius once said, "Give a man food, feed him for a day...teach a man to fish, feed him for life."
Its moments like these that bring me closer to God. |

I feel that the conversations, time and place, situation were all led by God.
Yeah, it's a blessing for him to have inspired me to help them, most times just by talking, but i feel that God is the one who guides them after our conversation has ended. |

| | In the past month I have blessed one of my neighbors by paying for one the neighbors to play on the softball team until he was able to get his pay check to pay me back. He really wanted to play but was short on cash so I wanted to be able to help out where I could. |

| | Welcome visits are my favorite part of community life. I meet all sorts of great people who are just dying to make new friends. I have been blessing my welcome and mid-lease visits by being the genuinely interested and catering individual my Christian parents raised me to be. Giving people opportunities to seek places to inspire better health all around. Physical, emotional, social and of course spiritual. I always make a point to let residents know that I'm well connected to the island's non-profit organizations and churches. |
